350 psi UL Listed FM Approved Resilient Wedge Gate Valve, Series 5000

Kennedy Valve Series 5000 Resilient Wedge Gate Valves meet or exceed the requirements of AWWA standard C515, UL-262/FM-1120/1130, ULC - Underwriters’ of Canada and are UL Listed and FM Approved as KS FW-HP and KS RW-HP, and NSF Certified. Available in either non-rising stem (NRS) or outside screw & yoke (OS&Y). NRS style is available with post plate for adaptation with an indicator post. High Pressure Gate Valves are rated and tested for 350 psi. They are cast of ductile iron. OS&Y gate valves enjoy 3 to 10 times less friction loss than comparable UL-FM butterfly valves. OS&Y gate valves also offer a superior means to avoid water hammer upon closing the valve.
