200 psi UL Listed FM Approved Resilient Wedge Gate Valve, Thick Wall, Series 8000

Kennedy Valve Series 8000 Resilient Wedge Gate Valves are UL-262/FM-1120/1130, ULC - Underwriters’ of Canada as KS-FW, and NSF Certified. They are available in either non-rising stem (NRS) or outside screw & yoke (OS&Y). NRS style is available with post plate for adaptation with an indicator post. They are also compliant with AWWA C509 and cast of gray iron. OS&Y gate valves enjoy 3 to 10 times less friction loss than comparable UL-FM butterfly valves. OS&Y gate valves also offer a superior means to avoid water hammer upon closing the valve.
